Who We Are
Welcome to The Booker School, an independent, non-profit, non-denominational, Pre-Primary to Grade 8 school in Port Williams, Nova Scotia.
Founded in 2012, we embrace the values of the International Baccalaureate, with a mission to gain full accreditation from the IB PYP (Primary Years Programme) for students aged 3-14.
Our Vision
The Booker School is a learning community connected to its natural environment, where children’s diverse and individual abilities are nurtured, empowered and challenged. Our students experience joyful learning, engage as global citizens and take action in their local communities.
Communicating
For Our Community
We believe that education is a three-way partnership between the school, the parent, and most importantly, the child. For day-to-day communication, we use the platform Toddle so that parents can engage with their child's learning. For wider communication, we publish frequent newsletters and blog articles on the link below.
