Pedagogical Leadership Team & Middle School Homeroom Teacher

I feel very fortunate, and at the same time, incredibly excited to be with
the TBS team! Originally from Toronto, I married into the Maritimes,
meeting my wife Charmedie while teaching in Romania. We share our home
in Wolfville with our wonderful son Elijiah.As parents, Charmedie, and I are so pleased with how Elijiah is seen at The Booker
School. He is a valued member of a learning community where his passions and
curiosity are met with open arms.

My 27 year journey in education has led me to TBS. I have always believed that by
putting students at the centre of their learning, through a holistic approach, all
learners can reach their full potential. My experiences are varied including working
as a PYP teacher, MYP curriculum coordinator/ teacher, and administrator in IB
continuum schools. My experience in a Reggio school has enriched my belief that
children best learn through play and by using the environment as the third teacher.

I look forward to continuing my lifelong journey as a learner alongside my students,
colleagues and members of The Booker School community.
