"Inquiry based learning is not an educational system based on predetermined teacher lead focus, topic and theme. It is a collaborative process fostering a partnership between teachers and students, who work together to negotiate aspects of the curriculum.Kathleen, Teacher
Innovation involves trying new ideas and applying them in new ways. Innovation in education is not about imposing faddish ideas on our students or teachers. It is about finding worthwhile ideas and enabling teachers, students, parents, and community members to work together to create learning environments where all students thrive—intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.Nova Scotia School Board Association, 2014
